BN Community Composting Fund

Your contribution will help support the growth of community composting availability in Bloomington-Normal. Additional community composting kiosks cost between $5500 and $7500 - we can only continue to grow the program with your assistance.

As 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, contributions to the Ecology Action Center are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.

Help bring Community Composting to Bloomington-Normal! The Ecology Action Center with other local partners wishes to establish a minimum of two Compost Kiosks in Bloomington-Normal. These kiosks will allow residents to subscribe to a composting service in order to deposit food waste for proper composting at their convenience. However, the initial investment is not insignificant; the EAC needs to raise $20,000 for two kiosks and marketing resources to make this project feasible. Please make a tax-deductible donation to help support this new recycling program!
